ADORE HIM

“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory o the Lord shone around them and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.”  Luke 2:8-13

Amazement and awe fill our hearts as we try to comprehend the impact of Christ’s birth. A seemingly insignificant moment in time -the birth of a baby – altered history and gave life to all humanity. 

Singing, kneeling and following God, the angels and shepherds worshiped.  Imitating their example, we begin our journey.   

Tonight, as you look at your tree, lights, and gifts, reflect on the promises, hope, and joy of Christ.  The greatest gift ever given to you is the life of Jesus.  Throughout your Christmas celebration, embrace Christ in a new dimension. Open your heart to receive His gift of love and life.
