Hope: Day Five - Plans

Advent is a wonderful season of hope!

Plans

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.“ Jeremiah 29:11-13

During Advent, we learn about the plans that God established for His people over thousands of years. Jeremiah reveals the rich plans that God has for each one of us. How thrilling to know that God’s plan is for us to prosper and to fill our lives with hope for the future.

But this promise has an expectation. God expects us to call on Him and seek Him with our whole heart. As we do, He will reveal His plans for our future. Following His way will bring us hope. We will never be disappointed by Him.

Heavenly Father, thank you that you have a perfect plan for each day of our lives. As we seek your way, help us to know that we have found You. Fill our hearts with your hope for our future. Amen.
