Equipped
“Be joyful always. Pray continually. Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus … The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:16, 24
These verses are so specific in guiding us to joyful living. Life in Christ is a partnership. As we are willing to live in God’s way – to choose joy, continually pray, and be thankful – God will change our hearts. We cannot force ourselves to be prayerful or grateful, but as soon as we are willing, God is faithful to complete His work in us.
Thank you, Heavenly Father that we can have joy in all our circumstances. Teach us how to pray continually. Help us live our lives so that they are pleasing to you. Amen.
