Humility

“O come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the sheep of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.” Psalm 95:6-7

The act of kneeling reminds us that we worship God Almighty and that He alone is worthy of our worship. Kneeling is our physical expression of our hearts and lives submitted to Him.

Worship is a part of recognizing that God is a “great God, and the great King above all gods,” Psalm 95:3. Creator, Redeemer, Provider, Ruler, Eternal Father, Protector are all names for God which call us to worship. Worship Him today by giving thanks for His protection and provision for you.

Lord Jesus, you are our Maker and a great God. Thank you so much for all that you are in our lives. Fill our hearts with your love and expand our understanding of worship. Amen.
